I’ve been with my boyfriend for about seven months, but we were close friends for about a year before that. He was with his ex girlfriend for seven years and her family became his family as in most relationships. Their breakup was really bad and she hated him for a minute but then her brother had a heart attack and they traveled up to where he lives together to help him and her sister out while he recovered. I was supportive of that, although I was extremely sad and a little angry. Then her mother got ill and he went again to be supportive to his ex and family. I was destroyed. I think that he should show his support differently now that were together. Not staying for four days with your ex. His ex’s mother just passed four hours ago and he wants to go be supportive for her again. I am all in favor of him going to the service because that was someone important to him, but not for four or five days with your ex. Why doesn’t she have her own man there each of these times? He says thats his family, but aren’t I supposed to be his family now? Where does she stop and I begin? Sorry for the length. Please give your opinion. Thanks.
